It is absolutely gorgeous.The beds are comfortable, the home feels welcoming, and the retro vibe adds a fun touch. We also appreciated having the kayaks available since the lake is perfect for exploring. The hot tub was clean and ready to use, which made our stay even better.Our only regret is that we did not have more time here. We have already planned a return trip for the summer.

Jolie and Stephen were amazing hosts—communication was so easy and they responded quickly to any questions. Such a peaceful getaway spot—we’d love to come back! And possibly stay at their Poipu rental.

We grilled steaks one night and enjoyed the view of the lake. The road in from the highway is a little bumpy, but well worth the drive. Each day we watched a doe and her twin fawns wander the road, so please drive slow. I highly recommend staying here at Lakeside!! Check in was a breeze and check out even easier. Also found a dirty sock behind a bedroom door and another pair under a bed in a different room. The kitchen floor had crumbs and something sticky all over it. Other than those things, the house is very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The views are simply amazing.

Wifi was strong even with many devices on it. 100% recommended!

The hot tub and outdoor space gave us a great area to relax and hang out. We were able to catch bass right from the fishing dock and had fun kayaking and exploring the lake on our paddle boards. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels! Hosts were friendly and helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful stay and would go back again and again!

Valentines confetti, hersey kisses and not one room was lacking a special touch for that from the bathrooms, to the kitchen and living spaces.
